The other day I was out shopping. Some random person came up to me asking if I was Sheila Hendrix. I cautiously told her I was and why. She told me that a friend of hers had told her about me. She told her I was an author and that I write YA paranormal books.
The lady wanted to hear more about The Betrayal, book one on in The Dark Circle series. I told her and she wanted to buy the book. She got so excited! I told her the book wasn't going to be out until hopefully Oct/Nov. She asked if I could put her name on a list so she can get one. Of course I said Yes!
So now I have started a list where people can preorder my book. I have around 150 people wanting it so far. If you're interested, let me know and I'll put you on the list also. I will have more details on this in the next couple of weeks.

I just finished reading The House on Blackstone Moor by Carole Gill and even though the book contained many grammatical errors, the story was awesome!
Rose Baines is a young woman who has seen nothing but tragedy and heartache in her young life.
When she returns home from an evening out, she finds her entire family, mother, sisters and brother lying dead on the floor, their throats cut. They had been murdered by their father who also lay dead, after killing himself.
Rose goes mad and thus begins her frightful journey into a world of evil and corruption.
After a short stay at an insane assylum, she takes a position as Governess in The House of Blackstone Moor, where she falls in love, not only with the children but also the master of the household.
Soon, strange things begin to occur and Rose realizes that the children she cares for are not human. Neither are their parents. They are vampires.
Rose soon falls for Louis Darton, the leader of this cult and as their love grows strong, Rose, without her consent, is changed.
When evil comes to call, there is a great battle and Rose must decide if she she wants to turn back into a human, or become immortal in order to live forever with Louis and the children.
When the battle is over, and the children, whom she now claims as her own, get hurt, she gives them her blood in order to save them. She was also hurt badly but decides to become immortal so she can live forever.
The House on Blackstone Moor is a tale of destiny and true love and will have the reader anxiously waiting the second installment by Mrs. Gill. I for one home there is going to be one!
